Tidio pricing explained (2026): plans, the Lyro AI add-on and what a month really costs

Tidio costs from $24.17 a month on the Starter plan (billed yearly, $29 month to month), $59 a month on Growth and from $300 a month on Plus, with a free plan limited to 50 conversations. The AI agent, Lyro, is not included: it is an add-on billed per AI conversation, starting at $32.50 a month for 50 conversations. A small store that wants the AI to answer most chats therefore pays for two things, the plan and the Lyro allowance, and the second one grows with traffic. Prices checked September 2026.

What the pricing page does not make obvious
- Lyro AI is billed separately from the plan, so the headline plan price is never the AI price.
- A "conversation" on Tidio is a visitor session; Lyro conversations are counted separately from plan conversations.
- Yearly prices on the pricing page are about 17 per cent below the month-to-month prices.
- Around 5,000 AI conversations a month pushes you to Plus, which starts at $300 before Lyro usage.
What a real month costs on Tidio
Is Tidio worth it?
Tidio is a good live-chat inbox with an AI layer. If a human answers most chats and the AI handles overflow, it is fairly priced. If the AI is meant to answer almost everything, the Lyro meter makes the bill grow with every busy month, which is the opposite of what an automated assistant should do. Chatonbo is flat: free up to 100 conversations a month, $19 for 5,000, $59 for 10,000, no per-seat, per-resolution or per-credit fees, and unused conversations roll over.
