Gorgias costs $40 a month on Starter for 50 tickets and scales by ticket volume up to Advanced at about $1,430 a month for 5,000 tickets, with the AI Agent billed at about $1.50 per interaction beyond the plan allowance. Because every chat, email and social message counts as a ticket, a store that grows pays more each month it grows, and the AI, which is supposed to remove work, is priced per piece of work it does. What the pricing page does not make obvious
- Tickets include every inbound message on every channel, not only chats, so email volume eats the allowance.
- Overage tickets are billed when you exceed the plan, and the next plan up is a large step.
- AI Agent interactions are metered separately from tickets.
- Gorgias is built for Shopify; on Wix, WordPress or a custom site most of the integration value is gone.
What a real month costs on Gorgias
Is Gorgias worth it?
Gorgias is a full helpdesk for Shopify brands with a support team, and if you need macros, SLAs and a shared inbox across email and social, the ticket pricing buys real software. For a store that mainly wants chat answered automatically, you are paying helpdesk prices for a chat assistant. Chatonbo is flat: free up to 100 conversations a month, $19 for 5,000, $59 for 10,000, no per-seat, per-resolution or per-credit fees, and unused conversations roll over.
